ROLE OVERVIEW

The Branch Head – Bengaluru will be responsible for setting up the office, building the market from the ground up, and scaling it into a profitable and strategically important business unit. This role combines market entry, P&L ownership, business development, client leadership, team building, and brand establishment. Working closely with the Founder and central leadership, the Branch Head will translate the agency’s vision into local execution while shaping long-term growth opportunities in the Bengaluru market. 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES​

​

Market Entry 

  • Establish foundational processes, local partnerships, and working systems. 

  • Act as the primary representative and face of Atomium Labs in Bengaluru. 

  • When the need arises, lead the end-to-end setup of the Bengaluru office, including infrastructure, vendors, and operational readiness (with central team support). 

Business Ownership and P&L 

  • Define and execute the Bengaluru market entry and growth plan (quarterly and annual). 

  • Build predictable revenue through new business, retainers, and account expansion. 

  • Ensure commercial discipline across pricing, scope, margins, and collections. 

  • Own the branch P&L from inception, including revenue targets, cost structures, margins, and profitability. 

Market & Business Building 

  • Build Atomium Labs’ visibility, credibility, and relevance in the Bengaluru ecosystem. 

  • Identify priority sectors, anchor clients, and strategic partnership opportunities. 

  • Lead all new business efforts including prospecting, pitching, negotiations, and closures. 

  • Develop alliances with complementary agencies, platforms, and ecosystem partners. 

Client Leadership 

  • Own senior client relationships and lead CXO-level conversations. 

  • Convert early wins into long-term, multi-service partnerships. 

  • Represent the agency at industry forums, leadership events, and networking platforms. 

Delivery Oversight 

  • Ensure delivery excellence across all services including Strategy & Communication, Advertising, ATL/BTL/TTL, Events & Exhibitions, Films, Corporate Events, Visual Merchandising, and Content & Video. 

  • Work closely with Strategy, Creative, Operations, and Finance to ensure alignment between business ambition and delivery capability. 

Team & Culture Building 

  • Build the initial core Bengaluru team, followed by phased scale-up. 

  • Hire, mentor, and develop leaders across business development and client servicing. 

  • Establish a high-ownership, performance-driven culture aligned with the values of Atomium Labs. 

Governance, Systems & Reporting 

  • Implement CRM discipline, reporting structures, and performance review mechanisms. 

  • Track performance against agreed KPIs and milestones. 

  • Enable responsible and effective use of AI and technology to improve productivity and decision-making. 

 

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Graduate/Post Graduate in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline. 

  • 10–15+ years of experience in agency leadership, business development, or client leadership roles. 

  • Prior experience in a strategy, advertising, branding, or integrated marketing agency will be preferred. 

  • Demonstrated success in building markets, leading teams, and owning revenue and profitability. 

  • Experience setting up or expanding offices/regions will be a strong advantage.
